The 21st Century SingerTM is a registered UK trademark. No part of this website may be copied without written permission from Dane Chalfin & Associates. No names of practitioners or course content may be used in any advertising, printed or electronic, without expressed written permission from Dane Chalfin & Associates.
Minors
We will not take on clients under the age of 18 without an initial audition session. A parent/guardian must be present for all sessions. Where bookings are made for a minor it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that the minor attends on time and with an appropriate adult. Any lateness or missed sessions will be billed as usual to the parent and are subject to the cancellation policy below.
Booking and Cancellation and Late Payment Policy
Manchester studio hours are Thursday and Saturday 11:00-17:00. Bookings taken outside of these days/hours may be subject to travel and other costs. Higher hourly rates will apply for on-location work.
48 hours notice is required to cancel any one-to-one sessions or the full fee will be charged. If you book your session within 48 hours of it taking place there are no cancellations without full payment. 7 days notice is required to cancel any workshops, courses, or advance block bookings or the full fee will be charged. If you book within 7 days of the workshop, course or block bookings taking place there are no cancellations without full payment.
Invoices should be settled within 28 days unless other arrangements have been made. Invoices that are not settled within 28 days of issue are subject to the standard UK penalties of £40-100 depending on the size of the invoice.
Privacy policy
Your information will only be stored with your permission. We may use this information to contact you in the future regarding events and promotions. If you would not like to be contacted please write to info@21stcenturysinger.com. We will never share your information with any other organisation.
Vocal Health Notice
The 21st Century SingerTM is committed to helping people develop heatlhy vocal habits, but we cannot be held responsible if the information we provide is used out of context or abused. Any training may be damaging if used improperly and/or without complete understanding. You alone can judge your own level of expertise. Your body is your best source of feedback. If you feel scratching or acute pain in or around your larynx please stop what you are doing and only resume practice once you have sought advice. If you have any doubts about your vocal technique or vocal health, or if your voice feels/sounds different than normal for more than two weeks, please seek professional medical advice. singing
